Le futur simple
The futur simple says what will happen. For most verbs, take the infinitive as the stem (drop the final -e of -re verbs) and add one set of endings for every verb: -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont (they echo the present tense of avoir).\n\nparler → je parlerai, tu parleras… · finir → je finirai… · prendre → je prendrai…\n\nSome high-frequency verbs have irregular stems: être → ser-, avoir → aur-, aller → ir-, faire → fer-, venir → viendr-.
